Sharif Street

Sharif Street is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania Senate representing District 3, covering part of Philadelphia County. He has served in the state Senate since 2016. He is an attorney and politician, and the son of former Philadelphia mayor John F. Street. He was chair of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party from 2022 to 2025. He is a Muslim and was a candidate in the 2026 Democratic primary for Pennsylvania's 3rd Congressional District.
