Volodymyr Zelenskyy is the sixth President of Ukraine, having assumed office on 20 May 2019. Before his political career, he was a lawyer, comedian, actor, and producer, co‑founding the entertainment company Kvartal 95 and starring in the satirical TV series 'Servant of the People,' which gave name to his political party. He has led Ukraine through the Russo‑Ukrainian war, including the full‑scale Russian invasion that began in February 2022, and campaigned on an anti‑establishment, anti‑corruption platform.
