Nigeria's influential figures gathered today, Friday, at the Eko Hotels and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, for the 2025 Vanguard Personality of the Year Awards. Top honors went to Alhaji Sayyu Idris Dantata, founder of MRS Holdings, and Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior, for their significant contributions to the energy sector and public service. This annual ceremony consistently recognizes Nigerians who have made measurable impacts on national development and social progress, highlighting leadership and innovation across various fields.
The awards acknowledged leadership across critical national sectors. Alhaji Sayyu Idris Dantata, a prominent figure in the energy sector, was recognized for his strategic vision and contributions through MRS Holdings. Hon.
