**Three Nigerian women rescued from Mali trafficking warn others about fake job offers.
Three women from Plateau State were lured with fake job offers in Jos, told they would work in Lagos, but were taken through Cotonou to Mali and forced into prostitution.
They said poverty and unemployment drove them to accept the offers. They endured beatings and abuse when they resisted or tried to flee.
Becky Ibrahim, Blessing Nanging, and Miracle Yakubu were rescued and returned to Nigeria by the Global Anti-Human Trafficking Organisation (GAHTO).
Ibrahim said she agreed to travel to Lagos to support her three children and pay school fees after being approached in Jos.
GAHTO president Prosper Michael said the group will submit the traffickers' names to security agencies for investigation and denounced slave trade as unacceptable.
The case highlights how traffickers exploit economic desperation, using false job promises to move victims across borders.
It also shows the need for increased border checks and community awareness to prevent similar schemes.
GAHTO's plan to hand over names to authorities could lead to prosecutions if investigations proceed.
Watch for any arrests or charges stemming from the submitted names and for new government alerts on overseas job offers.
