Nebraska alum Josiah Allick wins NBA G League championship after NZMBL MVP season

Josiah Allick, a former Nebraska basketball forward, secured the NBA G League Championship with the Greensboro Swarm, sweeping the Stockton Kings. This achievement follows his Most Valuable Player season in the New Zealand Men's Basketball League.

Josiah Allick concluded a notable professional season by winning the NBA G League Championship. The Greensboro Swarm, the official minor league affiliate for the National Basketball Association's Charlotte Hornets, defeated the Stockton Kings in a sweep. Allick's journey to the G League title included a transfer to Nebraska for the 2023-24 season from New Mexico State. There, he averaged 7.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. He contributed to the Huskers' appearance in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
